Change Manager
Description
The customer is looking for a freelance consultant, who might be interested in a permanent position, with drive and ambition to be an active member in shaping change practices across a global IT department in a small, progressive, newly formed team.
The change management department is currently being defined to match a newly adjusted organization and vision. You will play an important role in defining and implementing a direction and change strategy in close collaboration with the Change Management Lead and Associate Change Manager.
Responsibilities:
In your position as Change Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure change initiatives are implemented successfully through a best practice change management and communication approach. You will play a key role in using change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support the adoption of change initiatives throughout the company and in collaboration with key contributors within the department. This also includes the people-side of change and changes in business processes and organizational structure, as new initiatives and projects are implemented.
As Change Manager you will:
- Engage with Business and IT stakeholders to strengthen cross-organizational collaboration in order to succeed with changes.
- Act as dedicated Change Manager on selected change initiatives to facilitate change.
- Help develop and implement a change management toolbox for Project Managers.
- Guide and coach Project Managers in change management processes and tools.
- Drive workshops and training for Project Managers and other project team members.
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
- Ensure communication materials is crafted for the right audiences at the right time and through the right channels.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate:
- Has +5 years’ experience working with change management in an international organization.
- Is fluent in English verbally and in writing.
- Understands project management tools and processes (this is an advantage but not a requirement).
- Has solid communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Has a structured mindset and understanding of working in a multi-cultural environment.
